Symptoms:

 

Some of these symptoms are normal in the course of every day life.

However, when a number of them are combined,

it may suggest the presence of a mild to severe disorder.

Excessive heartburn or indigestion

Insomnia or excessive sleep

Irritability or short tempered

Marital problems

Lack of enjoyment from interests that were previously pleasurable

Distancing self from family and/or friends

Increased substance abuse (alcohol and/or illicit drugs)

Decrease in sex drive or over indulgence

Lesser quality of work

Reporting to work late after usually being prompt or early

Increased use of sick time

Repeated nightmares

Waking from sleep in a cold sweat

Startles awake

Increased intestinal troubles

Nausea and/or vomiting prior to reporting to work or while at work

Carelessness with regard to personal safety on the job

Suicidal thoughts or the feeling of loosing the will to live

Crying for no apparent or little reason

Disconnected feeling
